Conik Racquet Warranty
1. Warranty coverage for padel racquets
- Duration: 6 months from the date of purchase.
- Covers only manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
- Applies strictly to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
- Not Covered: Damages from playing (hitting the wall, ground, or net) are not considered manufacturing defects.
- Misuse: Damage caused by using incorrect balls (eg. tennis balls instead of padel balls) is not covered.
2. Common exemptions (not covered)
Warranties are void if the damage is deemed to be caused by any of the following:- Impact Damage: Cracks or chips resulting from contact with the ground, walls, fences, net posts, or a partner’s racket.
- Environmental Exposure: Damage from playing in wet conditions (rain/wet balls) or exposure to extreme heat (eg. left in a hot car) or cold.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Natural deterioration of the EVA core (“loss of pop”), paint scratches, or fading over time.
- Misuse: Using the racket with heavy tennis balls, or any use outside of intended recreational play (eg. commercial or rental use).
- Unauthorized Modification: Any repairs or modifications (like adding lead tape that causes paint damage) not performed by the brand.
3. How to Claim on the Warranty
If you suspect a manufacturing defect, follow these steps:- Stop Use: Do not continue playing with a suspected defect, as this can worsen the damage.
- Contact us at hello@conik.store
- Provide Documentation:
Order Number and proof of purchase.
Clear Photos: Front, back, sides, and high-quality close-ups of the specific damage.
Description: A short explanation of when the issue started and the conditions of use.
Serial Number: Often found on the frame or handle. - Wait for Authorization: Once we’ve received your documentation, we will acknowledge this and get back to you with the way forward. Please do not ship the racket back until you receive confirmation from us.
- Assessment: we will evaluate the fracture pattern. If approved, we will typically offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
4. Primary Manufacturing Defects
- Structural Failures: Clean, internal fractures or deformations on the hitting surface that occur during normal play.
- Material Detachment: The surface material peeling or detaching from the foam core before first use or very early in its lifespan.
- Core Defects: Internal “rattles” (likely caused by a loose piece of carbon or material) or bubbles/hollows in the EVA core that affect the racket’s performance and sound.
- Assembly Errors: Misalignment or poor finishing at the junction where the frame meets the face, or issues with the handle/grip assembly.
- Irregular Surface: Bumpy or poorly finished hitting surfaces right out of the box.
5. Key Indicators for a Claim
A defect is more likely to be accepted for a warranty claim if:- It appears from the very first use or even before the racket is played with.
- The cracks are in critical areas and do not correspond to any impact marks, scratches, or dents on the frame.
